To the Ranch with Oma

In October we got to take Oma up to one of our most favorite places EVER!! The Gomez Ranch. Lovely, lovely, lovely place and always causes us to dream about living in a place where Allister can roam and roam (probably most of the time with his shirt off!).
Just a few shots of our time there. The girls also got to go to Durango and eat sushi. Yum! Even Oma ate some (and I got pictures to prove it!)

Honey-Dip

One of Allister's new favorite references...and a very handy trick when he's not eating his meal. Honey-Dip! Not sure if it is named after the one who taught him this trick (Thank you SO MUCH, Honi) :), or if it is because his favorite of all the dips is actually honey, either way, Allister has almost made dipping into an art form!

Soccer

We got to go watch some friends of ours play a couple soccer games this Fall, and Allister can't stop talking about it. "Bebop's socca game" (Caleb's soccer game) & "Yeeam kick socca baw" (Liam kicks the soccer ball).
He's actually not bad with his feet, but thus far, prefers to carry the ball right into the goal!

October

Yes, yes, yes...I'm behind a little on my posts, but wanted to share a bit about our month of October...one of my favorite months of the year!!

Balloon Fiesta, time...and boy, is it ever fun with a toddler who is really experiencing it for the first time!!

We went down to the field this year and Allister either looked like this (with mouth WIDE open):

He even got to watch the fireworks from our balcony with Oma one night, in lieu of reading bedtime stories.
